Bounce
London
Never before has the saying 'work hard, play hard' been so appropriate. Sporting a unique interior is London's Bounce bar, the home of ping pong, where the game's tables are used for revellers to challenge one another in a cool and sophisticated atmosphere.
Tables can be booked for groups of six or more, with some tables kept for 'walk ins' or smaller groups. There are 13 in total, all of which are Butterfly Ping Pong Tables, as well as two rather special tables, the Olympic 2012 table and World Championship table.
Surrounding the competing grounds is the bar and restaurant. The bar is a hybrid of influence, including its predecessor, the Gin palace, Hatton Garden, the city of London and of course, ping pong. On the menu are sumptuous and exotic cocktails, from Margarita's to a Wiff Waff's or even a Winning Smash. There are house and premium spirits of gin, rum, vodka, whiskey and more, as well as virgin cocktails for those who do not drink. To see the full drinks menu, click here. The bar also serves snacks and lite bites, which can be found here.
Filling up after a fast and furious game, relax in the warm and cozy restaurant. Here, you can sit on long wooden tables under the glow of candlelight whilst admiring the open counter pizza oven. Serving traditional pizza and a selection of antipasti from the finest suppliers. Feast on salads of spinach and chicken, or nibble on salami, goat's cheese or roasted wild mushroom pizza. There are hearty meals of wild boar stew and baked fresh fish or lighter sides of vegetables or new potatoes. Topping it off are the tantalizing desserts of red berry fool, eton mess, sorbet, ice cream or cheese. For a look at the full menu, click here.
There is also a private room for hire. Inside are three bespoke designed tables as well as a specified menu and cocktail bar. There is a docking station to play your own tunes on, as well as a DJ. For more details, click here.
