The Camino restaurant and bar is located on Varnisher's Yard in Islington. It is a vibrant venue serving authentic Spanish food, drinks and that inimitably Spanish zest for life. Whether for an extensive breakfast, a work lunch or an enjoyable dinner, the Camino staff welcomes you with a friendly smile and impressive service.
The menu of the Camino is a fusion or the many regional dishes of Spain. With fresh and high quality ingredients prepared, the dishes are mouth-watering and with attention to detail presented. There are several menus available at the Camino suiting the time of the day and your mood. The dinner à la carte menu includes dishes such as charcoal-grilled pork cutlet with butternut squash dumplings, blue cheese and sage, pan-fried gilthead bream, served with aubergine caviar, spiced apple and saffron sauce and spinach and goat's cheese rice with roasted piquillo pepper. With wines from the many regions of Spain served by the bottle and by the glass, the dish can be perfectly complimented.
The Hottest Interiors
The atmosphere at the restaurant is positive and warm. With Spanish friendliness and heart, the guests are meant to feel comfortable and at home. A large window front illuminates the room with natural light and gives a nice view on the hustle and bustle outside. The dining room features a contemporary design with earthly colours and a fresh feel to it. While everything at the Camino is traditionally Spanish, the design is not. A good thing really, considering the many bars overloaded with heavy wood, Spanish flags and bulls are seemingly everywhere.
