The Il Convivio is located on Ebury Street where it serves authentic Italian dishes. The name Il Convivio describes the meeting over food and drink of anti-establishment intellectual philosophers of the Dante era. The exact translation is 'banquet'. And a meeting over food and drink it is. The restaurant offers delicious meals and superb drinks in a charming environment.
The menu of the restaurant comprises well prepared and mouth-watering presented dishes. Only the best ingredients find their way into the Il Convivio kitchen. The à la carte menu includes dishes such as spaghetti with cured pork cheek, fresh tomatoes and rocket, seared diver scallops with Catalonia chicory and angel hair pasta and fillet of veal with zolfini beans puree, glazed carrots and morel sauce. The wine list was designed to complement your meal and suit your mood.
The restaurant is set in a beautiful Georgian House. The venue is split into three areas. By entering the Il Convivio you find a small dining area overlooking the Ebury Street. The main dining area is spacious and airy and leads to the intimate bar area. All areas mediate a warm and inviting atmosphere which is accentuated by the genuinely warm smiles of the waiting staff welcoming you. The restaurant is open Monday - Saturday 12:00 - 15:00 and 19:00 - 23:00 hrs and is closed on Sunday.
