Keu! specialises in banh mi (a much loved type of sandwhich in Vietnam) and does it well - think of banh mi deluxe. They come stuffed with a mixture of finely shredded vegetables, pate or luncheon meat and extra chilli for a spicy bite. Offering the standard sandwich with a range of fillings, each is delicious. The loaf is crustier and the ingredients more luxurious than what you'd get in Asia, but when you look on the street you'll quickly remember you're in Hoxton and not Hanoi.

Additionally, the 'sides' are as delicious, perhaps more so than the main menu. The daily specials are based on what's good and what's available.

Prices are low so it's perfectly feasible just to pop in for a sandwich to go, or to sit down on one of the benches and read the paper, or have a drink with friends over savoury Vietnamese food. With the quick and friendly service, you'll be finding yourself making any excuse to return - and we wouldn't blame you.
