The Little India Restaurant is a small, delicate and wonderfully charming establishment that is located on Gloucester Road in London's SW7. Rather meekly named and certainly not ostentatious in any way, shape or form, the Little India restaurant actually has plenty to boast about. Delivering some of the most highly-regarded Indian cuisine found anywhere in London (which is no mean feat!), Little India is a firm favourite among locals who are understandably eager to keep this little gem an undiscovered one.
Quaint, friendly, stylish and welcoming, one's immediate impression of Little India is one of belonging. The charming staff ensure all dining parties - big or small - are immediately made to feel right at home, whether enjoying a lazy lunch or an intimate evening meal. A great wine list, some lovely continental beers and all manner of spirits are offered here, as are soft drinks for the designated drivers and younger diners.
Fresh, succulent, perfectly cooked and lovingly presented - the cuisine at Little India is nigh-on faultless. Curry lovers will be in heaven, while even those less enamoured with Indian cuisine are certain to be bowled over by the brilliance and culinary expertise of the kitchen staff. Specials worthy of note include the grilled chicken tandoori, the king prawn biryani, the silati style lamb, the magnificent vegetarian menu, and the delightful bhini naan with raaita. However, the signature dish of the Little India restaurant is the Naga Chicken, which is a firm favourite and a great option for anybody unsure of what to order.
