Boasting back-to-basics British cooking, the Rivington chain of grill bars is a popular one, made inviting by its relaxed environment, its chic décor and its fabulously attentive and hardworking staff. Whether you fancy after work cocktails, a refined setting for afternoon tea or coffee, an ideal location for a spot of lunch or an intimate venue for romantic evening meals, a Rivington Grill restaurant is the ideal choice.
The cuisine served at Rivington is derived from predominately British influences, with seasonal and fresh produce used as standard in all dishes. Wherever possible, local suppliers are used, with a clear emphasis and preference placed on bespoke producers and independent farmers. This approach ensures all meals served at Rivington benefit from the fullest flavours, while the presentation is innovative, prices are reasonable and service levels are world class.
The Rivington Shoreditch is the original Rivington establishment, and is located on Rivington Street in the heart of London. Open from 8am in the week for breakfast, this delightful establishment is also open from noon until 3pm for lunch, and then again from 6pm until 11pm for dinner (on Saturdays too). At the weekend, excellent brunches are served between 11am and 4pm. Dishes of note include the buttered Manx kipper, the eggs benedict, the Peter Gott black pudding with fried duck's egg, the Barnsley lamb chop with bubble n' squeak and the lovely pear and chicory salad with Colston Bassett and hazelnuts.
