Inspired by the Japanese concept of 'kaiseki – kappo' (a cooking style which originated in high-class restaurants in Osaka in the nineteenth century), the extensive menu is based on fresh and fine ingredients. The chefs use only seasonal ingredients obtained daily. While there are naturally a range of ingredients freshly available each day, others, like fish, are not. This allows the chefs to be innovative and create and cook dishes with the available ingredients. With several set menus such as the haiku sushi-kappo menu and the tanka kaiseki-kappo menu, the restaurant delivers a wide range of possibilities. The drinks menu offers Japanese beers, teas, cocktails sake, plum wine and more.
The interior of Soseki was designed to allow guests to wind down and enjoy a fabulous meal in harmony. Comfortable chairs and elegant table decorations are accompanied by stylish bars and soft lighting. The friendly and professional waiting staff is happy to explain and recommend dishes.
