The Rib Room
The Rib Room is the in-house restaurant of the Jumeirah Carlton Tower hotel on Sloane Street in Knightsbridge. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the Rib Room embodies the same class and style as the hotel itself and pampers its guests with great British cuisine and excellent wine.
The Rib Room was opened in 1961 and offers the finest steaks and traditional British meals. Their signature dish - Roast Rib of Aberdeen Angus beef from the Scottish estate of the Duke of Buccleuch - finds its place on the menu next to Loch Fyne Oyster and Scottish Scallops. The restaurant was repeatedly announced as the 'Best Chophouse' in Zagat's London Restaurant Survey.
The ambience of the restaurant is relaxing and inviting. The warm and richly traditional interior welcomes families as well as couples or guests dining alone. For exclusivity, the Rib Room offers the Boardroom. The Boardroom is a private dining room which is as elegant as the main dining room and can be booked for private events.
The restaurant further offers the British Experience designed by executive chef Simon Young. The British Experience is an embrace of the finest, mouth-watering British dishes prepared with the finest British seasonal ingredients and fresh herbs. It costs £90 per person, including wine, and will definitely give every guest a true British dining experience.
