Yauatcha
London
Yauatcha is a 'Dim Sum Teahouse' that opened its doors to the discerning gastronomes of London in 2004. Although Yauatcha serves a full a la carte menu to rival the best Asian restaurants in the city, it is the patisserie that really makes the mouth water.
Serving a delectable selection of macaroons, including flavours such as bubble gum, popcorn, apple tart, raspberry chocolate and lychee rose. As well as 'petit gateaux' treats, handmade chocolates, truffles and even Easter eggs. These sweet treats are a perfect pick-me-up for late afternoon when your energy is drained. Guests should pair a cake or macaroon with one of Yauatcha's 60 different types of tea, varying from the classic to the unusual.
If you are visiting for a full meal then the a la carte menu will not disappoint either. With over 45 different types of Dim Sun available, including Prawn Shui Mai with chicken and steamed wild prawn, there is plenty of choice.
