Visited Ave Mario and it was fabulous ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The atmosphere was incredible — very well designed and perfect for appetizers. We started with bread which was delicious, along with olives, burrata, and bruschetta. All really good. For the next course we had the carbonara which was really good and the spaghetti was excellent. The pizza was the only thing that missed the mark — a little undercooked and could’ve used a crispier crust, especially in the middle. But overall a terrific experience. Also, make sure to check out the restrooms — they are very brightly and colorfully designed. Would definitely go back!!
I was in the mood for Italian food! I sat at the kitchen counter and had the pleasure of watching a well organized crew prepare mouth watering delicious dishes. Everyone worked in harmony with one another. The kitchen was also spotless, my crab pasta dish was yummy and I felt like I was watching a cooking show. I enjoyed my dinner very much! 😋
First visit here June 2026 with kids. We sat outside as it was a beautiful warm day. Ave Mario is part of the Big Mamma chain of Italian restaurants, which I’ve always wanted to try, and it definitely lived up to expectations. From the moment you arrive, the restaurant is incredibly impressive. The Christmas decorations were stunning, and despite looking fairly modest from the outside, the restaurant is spread over multiple levels. The bar at the entrance is particularly eye-catching and sets the tone for the experience. We had pizzas and carbonara all of which were delicious. we enjoyed carbonara served dramatically in a cheese wheel, Parma ham pizza. Every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. Dessert was just as impressive, with a selection of tiramisu, pineapple and cream, and panna cotta—the panna cotta in particular was incredible. You must try their showstopper lemon merengue cake. Even the bathrooms stood out, with funky neon lighting and mirrored walls adding to the restaurant’s bold and playful vibe. Overall, Ave Mario delivered an unforgettable dining experience, and it’s definitely a restaurant I’d return to for an incredible Italian meal.
A big restaurant with a unique atmosphere and striking interior design that immediately sets it apart. Despite its size, everything runs incredibly efficiently, from the welcoming staff to the smooth service, creating a lively yet well-organized dining experience. Reservations are definitely recommended, especially for larger groups, as the place is understandably very popular. The menu is another highlight, offering creative and distinctive Italian dishes rather than the standard selection of pastas found in most restaurants. Each plate has interesting flavour combinations and high-quality ingredients. If you're looking for Italian food that's a little more original, in a vibrant setting with excellent service, this is well worth a visit.
What a great dining experience! The food was excellent, the restaurant has a fun and energetic atmosphere, and the service was exceptional. Valentina took wonderful care of us and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. If you’re looking for great Italian food in London, Ave Mario is a must-visit. Highly recommended! Strongly recommend to make a reservation as the place is very busy for Dinners
