Had the surf & turf set menu for lunch for £20. I chose the calamari and the surf & turf burger. The calamari was unfortunately very tough and chewy and I couldn’t finish it cause of how bad it was. The sauce that came with it was also very disgusting which was a big shame. I think they went too over the top with their sauces. Just a simple mayo or garlic mayo would have sufficed. The burger was great except for the sauce on it too. Again the same reasons as the sauce given with the calamari. Just stick to basics is all I can say. Also I must mention service was quite poor. It took them too long to take our order as well as bringing the food and the restaurant was not even that busy so the fact we had to wait so long for our food was a joke. I’ve been to other burger & lobster locations b4 and sadly I must say this one was the worst one I’ve been to. Only positives I can say are their chips are very nice and they do allow walk ins at least.
We had a pleasant experience at Burger & Lobster Leicester Square. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The menu, however, didn’t offer a huge amount of choice, which was a little disappointing. The food itself was tasty, and the portion size was fair, although for the price, you can get more generous portions at other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the toilets were noticeably smelly, which let the overall experience down. Overall, it’s a nice place to visit with good food and service, but there are a few areas that could be improved.
Thank you to Ola for making my birthday meal extra special with the dessert! The staff at the reception were kind too. The food was delicious, generous in portion size, and the lobsters were excellent value for money.

But the whole lobster? That’s the star of the show simple, perfectly cooked, and letting the quality speak for itself. What I loved most wasn’t just the food. It was the lesson behind it. In a world where everyone is trying to do everything, Burger & Lobster built a global reputation by doing a few things exceptionally well. There’s a business lesson in that. You don’t have to be everything to everyone. Lovely place and absolutely amazing food. But the best part of our experience was Grace. I’ve been lactose intolerant for 14 years, and I had honestly never met someone so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She even sat down with us to help find a solution so I could finally try their famous lobster roll. That kind of attention and kindness is so rare, and it means even more than great food or a beautiful location. Grace, your name suits you perfectly. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel so welcome and cared for.
