Incredible restaurant in London! The setting is wonderful for the summer with outdoor tables and fast, attentives service. But the real star of the show is the head chef Asim Merali. Exquisite flavours, expertly cooked, with the right amount of creativity. My favourite dishes were the masala lamb chump, the hot dog, and the burger in pitta was also fantastic. Excited to follow this talented chef to see what he comes up with next!
I stumbled upon Goldie Soho completely by accident while walking around, following the most amazing smell – and I’m so glad I did. This place is easily one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. The service was outstanding. I let them know about a specific allergen, and they accommodated me immediately without skipping a beat. A special shout-out to Victoria, who went above and beyond. She gave us so many incredible recommendations that made our dinner truly memorable. She kept an eye on our table without hovering – clearing things the moment we were ready, and checking in at exactly the right times (never when we were mid-bite). Thanks to Victoria’s care and the fantastic food, I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you for making our night so special!
We booked a table for 7pm last night to celebrate our birthdays, and what a fantastic experience it was! The food was absolutely superb, and every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely awesome. We had such an amazing evening from start to finish. I actually discovered Goldies through an Instagram ad, and I’m so glad I did. The 6-piece chicken wings were generously portioned and packed with flavour. Be prepared to get your hands dirty! The loaded cheese chips were incredibly tasty and disappeared quickly from the table. The lamb sausage was tender, juicy, and full of flavour, while the burger was equally mouth-watering. A special mention goes to the banoffee dessert. It looked simple at first glance, but the surprise hidden beneath the ice cream made it an absolute delight and the perfect way to end the meal. And whatever you do, don’t forget to ask for their chilli sauce. It’s a game changer! Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. Goldie’s was great!! It’s very comfy and nice inside. We got the lunch special which was an excellent, excellent deal. Some of the best bang for our buck we’ve found in London. Our server was very sweet, and while the wait was a bit long we didn’t mind as weren’t in a rush and were just enjoying the time together. Loved the jerk chicken wings. Would love to come back and try some other items! They look to have a great mix of grilled items, and the specials looked excellent too!
The margarita was really nice with its own unique twist, definitely one I’d recommend. The corn flavours were great, although the corn itself was slightly overcooked. Chips were fresh and well-seasoned, which I loved. The burger had amazing flavour overall, the bread, sauce, and toppings were spot on, but the meat itself was a little bland and tasted more like standard mince. I’d definitely come back to try more off the menu.
