We had delicious steaks here last night, everyone in our group was very pleased with their meal😊 thank you
The steaks are delicious but the cut, sauce and cooking method you choose really affect the flavour. The team is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Hello my friends! today we came to this Argentinian place with a VERY specific mission… Tonight… we are attempting to cook empanadas OURSELVES 🧑🍳 And before risking our kitchen, our sanity, and potentially our lives… we decided we FIRST needed to try authentic empanadas made by professionals! My boyfriend actually came here around two weeks ago for his friend’s birthday and tried the Milanesa a la Napolitana… and apparently it was SO good he said we needed to come back. He also mentioned their huge wine selection 🍷…although for today’s occasion we behaved very responsibly and focused only on empanada research 🧐 We arrived around 5pm and the restaurant was almost completely empty, at first it felt slightly awkward… The interior was really nice. They were playing Argentinian rock music, and the walls were covered with funny sports-themed pictures- VERY passionate atmosphere ⚽️ The waitress was super sweet, although sometimes she spoke a little too quietly. Also turned out she was Mexican, just like my boyfriend! Surprise moment) Now let’s discuss the IMPORTANT part… We ordered three empanadas: spinach 🌱, beef 🥩, and ham & cheese 🧀 Before cooking, they actually asked whether we wanted them fried or baked in the oven, we chose the oven version and honestly… best decision ever because none of them felt greasy at all. SPINACH 🌱 REALLY creamy, soft, cheesy and comforting… delicious -8.5/10 BEEF 🥩 OH MY GOD… This one genuinely reminded me of samsas my grandma used to make back in Tajikistan .. Something about the meat and spices felt so nostalgic, childhood memory... 9/10 HAM & CHEESE 🧀 This one had a little less filling compared to the others, BUT I actually liked that the cheese was completely different from the spinach one. More melted and stretchy - very satisfying combo, but a little too simple) 8/10 Another cute detail - all three empanadas had completely different shapes so you could instantly tell which filling was inside 👀 And I REALLY need to mention… the quality of ingredients felt genuinely good. Nothing tasted cheap or overly oily. They also bring a huge jar of tap water which is super nice! Also…I became VERY curious about mate 🧉 I noticed these bags of herbs on the shelf and realized I had never heard about this drink before in my life. Apparently it’s a traditional caffeinated Argentinian herbal drink. We asked if they serve it - and they do… but only in tea bag form instead of the traditional way. Honestly, it would be really nice if they did the authentic version, I would try it 100%! You guys should come if you want nice Argentinian food 🇦🇷 (and maybe try the wines and let me know)) But for now.. that’s all from me! the real challenge begins… Tonight we attempt homemade empanadas in our kitchen.. Will they become beautiful authentic masterpieces... or tragic little dough disasters... we shall see. Pray for us please.
Not cheap but good quality steaks. Very tasty in decoration. 5 stars for Maradona picture, and also for the beautiful steak.
We ordered a mixed grill for two and the meat was exquisite. For dessert, we had flan, and I’d say the texture was a bit too firm, but the dulce de leche was very delicious. The service was very good—the staff were friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant if you want to try authentic food from the Río de la Plata region
