'La Petite Poissonnerie' Oyster Seafood Bar & Fishmonger
London
Reseñas
Fabulous poisonnerie in the heart of Mayfair with genuine French patron. What's not to like?!
We walked from Marlbourne station on our arrival in London it took 20 mins a very pleasant walk with some lovely properties on the way the restaurant is small and intimate seating both upstairs and in the basement we were seating in the latter as upstairs was full at 12 noon appears to be a popular spot for those that know . You can see the fresh fish on display in the front of the restaurant at the fishmongers . We had a platter of varies oysters dressed crab and shell on langoustines with varies sauces and a portion of rosemary potatoes , French bread and butter , our 8 year old grandson had the Steak Hache which was very well received and not a crumb left. We declined the desserts as we wanted to walk on to another local establishment to have our desserts .
I am delighted to have a restaurant like this in my neighborhood! The atmosphere reminds me of France or Spain, where the time runs at a different speed, while you enjoy a glass of bubbles with oysters, while you are waiting for the main course. I had an amazing sea urchin pasta and got some extra large prawns to go. If you enjoy your food and have a couple of hours to savor it, you will have a good time 🥂
