Me and friend was dying for a seafood boil last night and we found the most amazing place to have it! Not only was the food absolutely exceptional and everything we hoped we was also looked after by Kelsey who was honestly such a joy and gave the best possible experience during our meal! Super chatty, fun and just gave us AMAZING service. So thank you so much and I can’t wait to come back :))
First time here and it was amazing the service by kelsie was really really great, she made us feel very comfortable and well looked after. I’d highly recommend this place. Kelsie was very helpful and attentive which made our experience even better.
Absolutely incredible experience at Soulful Seafood in Shoreditch. From the moment we arrived, the service and atmosphere were amazing, and meeting Chef Precious made it even more special — you can genuinely taste the passion and soul in the food. We ordered the Triple Threat Bag with lobster tail, snow crab legs, large prawns, corn and potatoes, and added mussels, eggs and smoked sausages. Everything was cooked perfectly and the sauce was honestly unreal — rich, buttery, flavourful with the perfect amount of spice. Every bite was packed with flavour. The mac & cheese was one of the best I’ve had in London — super cheesy, creamy and comforting. And the cornbread deserves its own mention because this is genuinely the best cornbread I’ve had in London so far. Soft, buttery and perfectly balanced. The lemon pepper calamari was crispy, fresh and seasoned so well. If you love seafood boils and proper soulful food, Soulful Seafood is a must visit. Can’t wait to come back.
When I first walked in I had some doubts. The shop is quite small and the decor is very simple. It feels a bit cheaply put together and there were some loose wires visible. After placing my order I waited around 40 minutes for the food. They were also out of a few items such as fries and some drinks and were only offering multipack cans. However once the food arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The seafood was very fresh moist and full of flavour. The pricing is also very reasonable which made the experience better overall. I would not recommend it for the atmosphere but the food itself is very good. I would come back again for the quality of the food although there are definitely improvements needed in the shop.
Me and my partner visited this weekend and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The service was equally impressive x friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. My partner plans to bring his work friends that’s how much he enjoyed the food. I only have a picture of my meal before we drenched it in the sauce unfortunately but 10/10. Our valentines was perfect. While I was there, I actually witnessed staff handle a difficult situation with a difficult customer. They remained polite and professional even when they themselves weren’t wrong and it wasn’t easy. This really stood out to me. When the member of staff left I heard the customer and her son plan to leave false negative reviews and while I don’t usually leave reviews I feel this one was needed. It’s clear this team values fairness and good service. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere
