- In order to gain entrance to Westminster Abbey you must print your ticket - all redeemable tickets/vouchers must be printed and exchanged at the entry. Guests can visit the Abbey at any time. Please see the schedule for opening hours. A security search exists on entry for all visitors. Westminster Abbey is a working church and subject to occasional closures due to special services and events – please check the website for further details. Face coverings are mandatory when inside the Abbey, Abbey Shop and St Margaret's Church, unless exempt. Social distancing is encouraged in areas which are small and confined. They Abbey will close 30min after last entry. Galleries will open 30 mins after main opening time. The Abbey will be closed on the 24th to 25th of December. Bus Frequency: Every 20 mins on the Red and Blue routes. Every 30 mins on the Orange route. Your one way boat ride ticket is valid from: -Westminster Pier to Tower Millennium Pier or vice versa.
