Growing in reputation, lunch goers include locals, workers and those in the know, while in the evening the restaurant fills up pretty quickly; again, mostly with locals, but this is due mostly to its location away from central London.
The cuisine at the Café Rialto is standard Italian fare cooked exceptionally well and extremely reasonably priced. Take out is available, yet the best way to experience this delightful slice of Mediterranean life is most certainly to eat in.
The fresh and plump garlic bread is one of Café Rialto's most popular starters, and guests should most definitely sample the superb fried calamari and king prawns too. For mains, every pizza and pasta imaginable is available, while some of the specials include the risotto ai funghi e pollo, the chilli Bolognese, the seafood mixed grill and the delightful beef sole mio. At the weekends, the restaurant is also open for breakfast and brunch.
