Located on Groveside Court, Lombard Road in Battersea Village, the Thai on the River restaurant serves delicious Thai meals cooked to perfection. With a cosy and inviting atmosphere, the restaurant aims to deliver a fabulous dining experience.
Exotic flavours, unique textures and fresh ingredients are the components of every meal at the Thai on the River. The experienced kitchen team prepares the dishes with attention to detail and refuses to use genetically modified ingredients. While the restaurant provides an à la carte menu and set menus, the kitchen team is more than happy to prepare a dish according to guests' specific dietary requirements or exclusions. The menu includes dishes such as Spicy red Thai beef curry in coconut milk, flavoured with Thai pea aubergines, bamboo shoots, chilli and lime leaves, sweet and sour stir-fried Chicken with cucumber, sweet red peppers, onions, tomatoes, and pineapples and miniature crispy fried Thai pancake rolls with a filling of rice vermicelli noodles, sautéed shredded mixed vegetables and served with sweet plum sauce.
The helpful waiting staff is always happy to assist with recommendations and explanations of the dishes and its ingredients. The Thai on the River features several dining areas; one offers a beautiful view on the river, the other is equipped with bed-like booths presenting a very intimate place to eat. The bar area is nicely lit and mediates an open and inviting atmosphere. With its many different ambiences, the Thai on the River is the ideal place to dine for any occasion. It is open for lunch Sunday to Friday 12:00 - 15:00 hrs and for dinner daily from 17:00 - 23:00 hrs.
