The Chicago Rib Shack is an American style restaurant located on Knightsbridge in the heart of the city. With American friendliness, guests are welcomed in the restaurant which appears to be half American diner, half cosy British pub. Hearty dishes and down-to-earth drinks are offered in a nice and entertaining atmosphere.
The menus of The Chicago Rib Shack exceed all expectations regarding an American restaurant. The restaurant offers a main, a lunch and a kids menu and whether grilled, roasted or even kosher, dishes are prepared with love and care. The organic steak, the smoked brisket or the veggie burger come as generous helpings and are lovingly presented. Goose Island, traditional beer from Chicago, as well as other international beer is available at The Chicago Rib Shack.
The interior resembles that of a traditional 1950's American diner. Typical red leather banquettes and barstools with brown soft leather upholstery situated in front of the long, low bar reflect the image of American diners perfectly. An offset is achieved through wooden tables and chairs, cosy corners and long tables for large parties. The staff is friendly and children are more than welcome.
The Chicago Rib Shack restaurant has managed to combine American superlative with the character traits of an English pub. With very reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere, the restaurant is without a doubt a must visit when in London.
