The Tong Kanom Thai is a charming restaurant located on Harrow Road in Kensal, where it serves authentic Thai dishes. It attracts mostly locals for their work lunch and dinner with friends and family, but also people from all over London enjoying a fabulous and unforgettable meal.
All meals at the Tong Kanom Thai are prepared with noticeably fresh and fine ingredients. The kitchen team presents rich and exotic flavours with unique textures, with favourites among diners including the tom yum goong soup, chicken green curry enriched with peas and carrots, and fish of the day with crispy basil. Since the restaurant does not have license to serve alcohol, the drinks menu presents a variety of non-alcoholic drinks such as coffees, aromatic teas and soft drinks.
An absolute favourite among residents, the restaurant serves its dishes at a very reasonable price and in generous portions. While the waiters are friendly and attentive, every once in a while the head chef will emerge from the kitchen to the dining room to ask in person how the dish was. This creates a neighbourly and honest atmosphere which is often hard to find in big city restaurants. Tong Kanom Thai is open from Monday to Friday 12:00 - 15:00 and 18:00 - 22:00 hrs and on Saturday from 18:00 - 22:00 hrs.
