The Bombay Bicycle Club - Holland Park
London
In 1895 India, almost nothing was more popular than the Bombay Bicycle Club. It was a gathering place for chatting and gossiping whilst enjoying delicious food. Now, in the 21st century, London is home to three Bombay Bicycle Club restaurants offering authentic Indian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere or delivered to your home. The Bombay Bicycle Club - Holland Park is located on Holland Park Avenue.
All dishes are based on traditional Indian recipes and they are prepared with raw ingredients of the highest quality. Whatever dish you choose from the extensive menu, it will be freshly cooked to order and features distinctive flavours. The à la carte menu informs about the hotness of dishes and includes dishes such as tender lamb tempered with a touch of ginger and coriander cooked in a tomato, garlic and onion sauce, South Indian fish curry served in a spicy sauce with garlic, tamarind and curry leaves and, of the Bombay Bicycle Club's exclusive specialities, Fresh vegetables cooked in yoghurt, coriander, onions and green capsicum. The dishes come in generous portions and a served at a reasonable price delighting the taste buds and the budget.
The dining room of the Bombay Bicycle Club - Holland Park is as clean and fresh as the dishes. Floor to ceiling windows, white linen table cloths and orange benches create an airy and floating atmosphere which is wonderfully interrupted by Brown designed chandeliers and a pinkish marquee apparent from the inside. The waiting staff is well-informed and genuinely friendly making this already nice dining experience a memorable one.
