Arrived knowing no tables available but thought, can't hurt to ask! Met by a lovely lad with a reverse cap who found us a table in no time. We had been recommended by my son to come and it surpassed our expectations. Menu was simple but that didn't matter, in fact made it far easier as we had a show to get to. Plus the food was exceptional. We tried the special steak (wagyu skirt) honestly best steak I've ever had. All of our serving staff were brilliant and the free icecream when we left was just glorious. It's a must visit if you love steak!!
Everything is perfect. You’ll know why the place is highly rated when you got there lol. The staff were warm!! It was our first time there and she Introduced everything thoroughly with smiles. The menu is simple but every dish has a decent price and a good taste!! The cutlery is quite unique and unforgettable haha, they will also give you a small cleaver for the exchange of an ice cream when you finished the meal. Highly recommended and def will come back again☺️☺️
We ordered two steak of the day, While the presentation was good, the texture was a bit firmer than expected, which made it slightly less enjoyable for us personally, so it might not suit everyone’s preference. On a positive note, the mac & cheese on the side was absolutely delicious; creamy, fresh, and full of flavour. We were also served popcorn alongside red wine, which was a unique and interesting touch. The atmosphere was modern and inviting, with great music, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. Overall, a good experience, just the steak didn’t quite match our expectations.
The steak itself was delicious and cooked well, so I have no complaints about the food. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t live up to my expectations. The atmosphere felt rushed, and the staff gave the impression that they wanted customers to eat quickly and leave. For a restaurant with a dimly lit setting serving steak and alcohol, I think guests should be able to relax, take their time choosing their meal, and enjoy the experience without feeling hurried. I also asked the waiter what was in the green salad and whether it was good. Instead, I was recommended the tomato side dish, but what arrived was simply sliced tomatoes with olive oil, which was quite disappointing. Overall, while the steak was enjoyable, the dining experience wasn’t. It’s not somewhere I would choose to visit again.
Great food and amazing service. All the staff were friendly, and Steve in particular made our experience really memorable. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sauces were delicious. The aubergine dish was tasty, though the spinach one was a bit too creamy for my liking. Chips were okay but slightly cold. The complimentary popcorn and ice cream are always a lovely touch. The menu is reasonably priced, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, the waiting time was very good and the staff were attentive. The toilets were clean, and parking is conveniently close by. I’d definitely recommend booking in advance, as it tends to be fully booked even on weekdays.
