Visited for Spey Shack event. Food was very good but not amazing, although I enjoyed my lobster roll, it felt fresh and light, little creamy and addition of chives has added a little zest. Decent fries but nothing to write home about. It's good looking place but too heavy for me when it comes to main colour. Furniture was great though. Not sure about service, I don't want to judge people without knowing but it was all long faces, seriousness, no smiles. I could tell there is a sense of nervousness, no small talk. Maybe they didn't want to be there.
Pizzas and free XL spritz for harry styles tickets. Great promo to get people in. Very busy inside, arrived 20mins early and had to come back with how popular it is. Staff very friendly and took photos for other customers which was nice. Music was very tailored to the harry styles audience. Margarita pizzas really tasty and homemade. Only downside would be we were sat on a bar table along a window meaning I was sat with a pole digging into me, more cramped than a regular table. XL aperol spritz
The pizza is decent, the rest is ok. We ordered the half chicken with fries and salad and unfortunately it was very very dry, but the truffle mash potatoe was fantastic. The service is kind but inexperienced. There is room for improvement
The atmosphere is really nice we sat at the upper floor with a view of the street. The food was very well prepared and had great flavour. I recommend the truffle fettuccine. The desserts were the best we tried on out trip. Toffe pudding chocolate mouse and pavlova cake. The perfect portion after a decadent meal to end our lunch. Suchana was very helpful and nice to us. Gave me great recommendations and informed me about the dessert’s origin when i asked. Amazing experience definitely recommend.
Stopped in for Sunday Roast. Customer service was decent and overall atmosphere was nice. Had the 2 course Sunday Roast option with roast beef as main and pavlova for dessert. Roast beef was tender and flavorful. The carrots and parnips were okay. The potatoes were good. The Brussels Sprouts were a bit salty, yet tender and delicious.
