My boyfriend booked Scully as a birthday treat and we were absolutely blown away. The meal was one of the best I’ve ever had, everything was so flavourful (I especially recommend the eggplant arepa)! The staff were all so lovely and attentive. A wonderful experience!
Loved this restaurant. The food was incredible. Portion sizes are generous which is unusual for fine dining; the flavours were bold, fresh, and unique. Great cocktails too and the open kitchen gave the place a nice atmosphere. The service was professional but also friendly and relaxed, not stuffy at all.
If you want to try more unique dishes that is fine dining and filling, I definitely recommend this place. I would rate this a 7.9, however I must say it is very original. The standout dishes were the pork belly, chicken and beef onglets. It was delicious. The ambience was also very nice. The chef also gifted us the roasted pumpkin and it was such a nice gesture and it was also so good! The ambience was a 10/10, not too loud, good vibes, the waitress was also very professional, she was great.
Right before seeing The Phantom, we made a reservation here. The service all the way round was excellent. Waiters are very knowledgeable about what is coming to the table. And very friendly. The food… Not everything was to our taste; the starters are delicious but main dishes leave room improvement. The steak (meat) was of lower quality- maybe my bad. Felt like plastic. Overall it’s a good experience if you choose the dishes wisely.
Overall an enjoyable experience. The food was good but nothing "blew us away". It's a great concept that often works well for restaurants that know how to perfect it: Asian/South American fusion. Scully does it well but falls just short of nailing it I'd say. Service needs a bit of a boost, can't fault the lovely wait staff who were kind, but service was rather slow. We enjoyed the crispy chicken skin snack though found the accompanying "toum" dip to be quite overpowering on the palette. Crispy pork belly starter was very good, but again, just short of perfect crackle and melt-in-the-mouth meat. The Hake main was phenomenal! Perfectly cooked and balanced. The hangar steak was good but the star on that dish was definitely the sauce and salad that came with it!
