Clifton - Docklands
London
Clifton Docklands is a South Asian restaurant located on Westferry Road in the Docklands. The first Clifton was established in Brick Lane in the early 1950's. Ever since then, the Clifton restaurants have offered their guests high quality food and a warm and efficient service.
The menu of Clifton Docklands comprises dishes based on recipes from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Providing breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menus of the restaurant are created to please and delight the guests. The à la carte dinner menu includes dishes such as lamb chilli massala (lamb cooked with fresh green chilli in a richly spiced sauce of capsicum and onion), dhal masaldar (assorted lentils cooked with richly flavoured herbs and spices and served with chana, mog and mossori dhal) and sag prawns (prawns cooked with fresh spinach and fenugreek leaves, giving a district aroma and flavour). All dishes are served at a very reasonable price and are best enjoyed with one of the wines and cocktails listed on the menu. While the wine menu features complementing wines including familiar bins and rare ones, the both classic and unique cocktails are flawlessly blended with fresh fruits.
Clifton Docklands is a restaurant, wine bar and cocktail lounge at once. Whatever the occasion - a formal work lunch with colleagues, a romantic dinner for two or a fun breakfast with friends - Clifton provides the guests with the right ambience and delicious food. The dining room is equipped with modest wood furniture, fresh flowers and a wall to wall mirror ideal for people watching. The attentive and friendly waiting staff welcomes you daily from 12:00 - 24:00 hrs.
