The Silk restaurant is one of the in-house restaurants of the splendid Courthouse Hotel on Great Marlborough Street in the heart of the city. The brasserie inspired menu and interior of the restaurant offers dishes to everyone’s liking with a great wine list to compliment your dinner.

The international menu of the Silk restaurant offers dishes prepared with only the best ingredients available. Influenced by Asian cuisine, the head chef of Silk couples Asian recipes with contemporary Mediterranean and local dishes and herbs. Dinner is best started off with a selection of mezze/tapas style starters and followed by one of the restaurant’s signature dishes such as the tender steak or the well-prepared duck. The wine list is excellent and includes wines to either complement dinner or to stand alone.

The Silk restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the hotel and was converted from the old Number One court. A huge vaulted glass ceiling and genuine English Oak panelling gives the restaurant an elegant and sophisticated air. To compliment the style of the restaurant, the original Judges bench and witness stand are still part of the restaurant. The restaurant’s prices are ranged in the more sophisticated areas, but it is still worth visiting from Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00 – 23:00 hrs.
