The Fire Station
Located on Waterloo Road in Hammersmith, the Fire Station is an inviting gastropub serving modern European cuisine. Being awarded with an AA Rosette sure did help to strengthen the already high number of regulars, but was also an overdue appreciation of the passionate and hard-working kitchen and waiting staff of the Fire Station.
The menu of the Fire Station comprises all-time favourites as well as innovative dishes created by the kitchen team. The restaurant offers signature dishes such as British wild Mushroom Risotto with port and basil, char grilled Orkney rib-eye steak, chips and béarnaise sauce, roast organic chicken, panzanella and green olives and Shetland mussels prepared with roast garlic, chilli, fennel, tomatoes and thyme. The wine list changes frequently; aiming to complement the regularly changing menu and to please and surprise the guests. If you are not too keen on wine, the restaurant further offers a variety of cocktails, international draught and bottled beers and shooters.
Equipped with a spacious dining room and a cosy outside dining area, the Fire Station caters for a warm place in the winter and nice al fresco dining and drinking during the summer months. It always provides a vibrant and vivacious atmosphere being home to fun and friendly waiters. While it is not the right place to take your grandparents or your business partners, it is definitely a great venue for after work drinks, dinner with your friends and relaxing lunches. It is open Monday to Friday 12:00 - 15:00 and 17:30 - 23:00 hrs, Saturday 12:00 - 23:00 hrs and on Sunday 12:00 - 22:00 hrs.
