Since opening in 1989, Adrian and Michael Daniel have sourced and combined their ingredients with care to create the most successful vegetarian restaurant in London. With a selection of à la carte, set menus, mezze platters and weekend brunches, The Gate serves up beautifully presented and equally delicious food. The cooking is set out to reflect the diverse cultural backgrounds of Adrian and Michael, combining the tastes of Indian and Arabian cuisines with traditional Jewish food, and a hint of Italian and French influence.
The pair have opened up The Gate in Hammersmith and Islington, as well as writing two cookbooks to compliment the foods from their restaurant. Gift vouchers and cookery classes are also available. The restaurants comprise of a relaxed, yet fun atmosphere. This award-winning restaurants offers a set menu for fast and affordable dining, or an à la carte option for a more indulgent dining experience.
