Wild Food Cafe
London
Once you catch wind of the Wild Food Cafe, you'll make like a wild animal to Covent Garden and forage your way through the twisty roads and alleys until you find the place because, believe us, it's worth scouting out. Why? Because it serves a different eating experience in that the food has been sniffed out from the wilds of Scotland and Wales as opposed to having been organically farmed.
Food here is quick and clean leaving you feeling both satisfied and uplifted. Bite into one of their 'Artisan Sandwiches' - the Living Houmous with beetroot and carrot being particularly moreish - or their Living Pizza with coconut cheese, basil pesto and tomato marinara. As you can see, Wild Food Cafe serves healthy alternatives without any deception or trickery - they're not fooling anyone here.
Elsewhere their desserts follow the same suit of deliciousness with the likes of Sacred Heart raw chocolate bars from San Francisco, or handmade raw chocolate bars from (a little closer to London) Glastonbury and Somerset. With desserts, sandwiches, mains and salads all averaging at just over a fiver, and with the intense flavour, light textures yet seriously filling once swallowed, the stuff you can get at Wild Food is definitely worth checking out when visiting London.
